To write the county chronicle, a clerk, who came from the city’s Cultural Center, visited this village. He found out the truth behind a series of strange phenomena, such as the Weasel Demon’s moon worship, the Rat Demon’s vengeance, the White Immortal’s cure for illness, the Fox Immortal’s repayment of kindness, and the Snake Immortal’s fight with others. Thus, he recreated the great life of a legendary figure, who was compassionate and righteous.
